Last night we attended an election party hosted by Meghan and Cat. It was exciting to celebrate Obama's victory and to be a part of this historical time for our country. I have high hopes for the future and am looking forward to Barack becoming the next President of our country. I do have to admit that the victory felt a little bittersweet as we woke up this morning to find that Proposition 8 was most likely going to pass. We hoped California voters would make the right choice and vote against discrimination.
Here is Grace getting plenty of rest before the big night!
Grace mostly slept through the projecting and the counting.
She woke up just in time for Obama's victory. We had to turn on Fox News just to make sure that it was for real :)
Watching Obama's acceptance speech was inspiring for everyone. We toasted with some champagne! Yay!
